*Step 1: Call us and let's meet at your place!*
	All of our projects kick-off with a meeting in the place where we're doing the work. Here we get a sense of the space and understand first-hand your goals and challenges.
*Step 2: Function and beauty*
	In the design phase, we start by considering the functional aspects of the project - how the room should be laid out for example - slight variations in placement can make a small room feel bigger, and any room work better. Then we work our way into the details, choosing products, colors and designs that will bring it all together.
*Step 3: How much does it cost?*
	Custom Refinements takes the budgeting process seriously and works most projects on a fixed contract basis that includes the cost of materials. It's a win-win situation where you can plan for payments in advance, and we are motivated to meet your expectations.
*Step 4: Making progress*
	Once a retainer is paid, work on your project will begin. A project schedule is put in place and you will receive regular updates on the status of your work via phone calls, emails and photos. We work with many out-of-town and vacation home clients who can attest to the joy of returning to a project completed.
*Step 5: Finishing Touches*
	We don't consider a project complete until the last piece of molding has been nailed in and the paint is dry. We want you to be completely satisfied and look forward to your final inspection and approval.
